Special attention is given to families whose life circumstances make it more challenging to provide the environment their children need and deserve. Smart Start Rowan provides families with the education, information and resources they need as their child’s first and most important teacher.

Triple P- Positive Parenting Program:
Triple P is a parenting program, but it doesn’t tell parents how to be a parent. It’s more like a toolbox of ideas. Triple P gives parents simple and practical strategies to help them build strong, healthy relationships, confidently manage their children’s behavior, and prevent problems with their children’s development. Parents choose the strategies they need, and they choose the way they want to use them. It’s all about making Triple P work for each individual family.
Smart Start Rowan now offers Triple P Seminars: The Power of Positive Parenting; Raising Confident, Competent Children; and Raising Resilient Children. Each seminar is an hour in length, plus discussion time.
