Special attention is given to families whose life circumstances make it more challenging to provide the environment their children need and deserve. Nurturing Parenting Program:Is a curriculum-based, parenting education program that works with the whole family. Families participate in 2 1/2 hour fun, educational sessions that meet weekly. At each session, adults and children take part in separate, age-appropriate activities as well as share food and family nurturing time together. Building Brighter Futures
North Carolina Pre-Kindergarten is a state funded, high quality pre-kindergarten educational program designed to enhance school readiness and prepare four-year-olds for Kindergarten. To meet the age requirement your child must be four on or before August 31, 2016, (must be born on or before August 31, 2012), additional criteria must also be met.
